The rapid growth and development of emerging economies offer both opportunities and threats for businesses. An understanding of the economic development of emerging markets, combined with knowledge of the increasingly complex international business market, enables better exploitation of business opportunities in increasingly competitive world markets. The Master Program aims to develop a critical understanding of international business and emerging markets.
The hyper-competitive global arena of today mandates that managers develop the skills necessary to conduct effective cross-national interactions. This requires a thorough understanding of how culture affects organizations, managerial processes and human behaviour. Upon completion of this study program, students understand the global leadership competencies necessary to manage business activities related to emerging markets. Students will apply the theories learned by analysing managerial processes of major emerging economies in the Central and Eastern Europe, Latin America, Russia, China and India.
