{"id":10000149,"date":"2015-08-11T10:54:10","date_gmt":"2015-08-11T08:54:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fh-joanneum.at\/ausstellungsdesign\/master\/?page_id=149"},"modified":"2026-03-23T08:58:41","modified_gmt":"2026-03-23T07:58:41","slug":"application-requirements","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.fh-joanneum.at\/ausstellungsdesign\/master\/en\/admissions\/application-requirements\/","title":{"rendered":"Application Requirements"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"\" class=\"wp-block-text-content margin-bottom-none\">\n    <div class=\"container-lg\">\n        <div class=\"row\">\n            <div class=\"col\">\n                <div class=\"module-migration-headline\">\n<h3>Do I meet the admission requirements?<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"\" class=\"wp-block-text-content margin-bottom-normal\">\n    <div class=\"container-lg\">\n        <div class=\"row\">\n            <div class=\"col\">\n                <p>If you want to apply for this Master&rsquo;s degree programme you need to have<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a relevant Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or<\/li>\n<li>equivalent qualification.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>German and English are the languages of instruction, and knowledge of these languages at least at level B2 is required.<\/p>\n\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n<div id=\"\" class=\"wp-block-text-content margin-bottom-normal\">\n    <div class=\"container-lg\">\n        <div class=\"row\">\n            <div class=\"col\">\n                <h4>Detail on the admission requirements<\/h4>\n<p>An example of a relevant bachelor&rsquo;s degree programme is currently the Bachelor&rsquo;s programme in <strong>Information Design<\/strong> offered by FH JOANNEUM.<\/p>\n<p>Graduates of<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>technical,<\/li>\n<li>artistic,<\/li>\n<li>humanities,<\/li>\n<li>social sciences,<\/li>\n<li>economics,<\/li>\n<li>natural sciences and<\/li>\n<li>interdisciplinary programmes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>at universities, technical universities or art universities with a Bachelor&rsquo;s, Master&rsquo;s or Diplom degree will be admitted if:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>80 ECTS credits from their previous studies largely correspond to the core subject areas of the Bachelor&rsquo;s programme in Information Design at FH JOANNEUM or a comparable relevant degree programme, and<\/li>\n<li>at least one of the following eligibility criteria is met:\n<ul>\n<li>Relevant professional experience spanning a period of at least two years<\/li>\n<li>Assessment of professional aptitude based on the submitted portfolio<\/li>\n<li>Relevant further training or study modules with a workload equivalent of at least 30 ECTS<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The degree must be from a recognised institution of postsecondary education in Austria or abroad.<\/p>\n<p>In ambiguous cases, the head of degree programme will decide whether the candidate meets the admission requirements.
