What is the admissions process? <\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

The admissions process consists of <\/p>\n

    \n
  • a complete application,<\/li>\n
  • an assessment of the portfolio or the exhibition concept by the admissions committee,<\/li>\n
  • an online interview with the admissions committee and<\/li>\n
  • an overall assessment of previous qualifications and practical professional experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    You will be invited to an interview if you meet the entry requirements and your application documents and online portfolio are complete and were submitted on time. You will receive an email with detailed information about the interview in good time before the interview.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    The online interview<\/h4>\n

    All candidates are invited to an interview. You are given the opportunity to demonstrate both your knowledge in the field of exhibition design and your motivation, suitability and talent for the chosen course of study and a subsequent career in this field. <\/p>\n

    The admissions interview will be held online via video call. At the beginning of the interview the applicant must confirm that no unauthorised aids are used and no one else is present to help. The applicant must also present official photo identification.<\/p>\n

    The interview will be conducted by key staff from the Institute of Design & Communication. It will last around 20 minutes.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    Assessment of previous qualifications and professional experience<\/h4>\n

    The following criteria will also be taken into account in the admission decision: <\/p>\n

    • previous degrees <\/li>\n
    • motivation for choosing the course of study <\/li>\n
    • craft, artistic or scenographic skills <\/li>\n
    • computer skills <\/li>\n
    • audio\/video practice <\/li>\n
    • own exhibitions <\/li>\n
    • participation in exhibition projects or exhibition stand construction
