Course content
The aim of this course is to develop English communication skills for business.
The core contents of this course include:
[1] General Business Engish & Basic Grammar Revision
[2] Reading and writing business correspondence
[3] Rollowing telephone conversations and discussions
[4] Talking about business-related matters
[5] Interpreting charts
The language of instruction is English.
Learning outcomes
After completing the Personal Skills & English module, students will be able to use advanced word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet software, familiarize themselves with common programming environments, and create the first low-threshold program as well as soft skills such as presentation skills, negotiation techniques, conflict management, analytical problem solving and are able to communicate in German and English at the highest level.
In addition, students learn the techniques of scientific work, are able to raise research questions and to answer them with scientific methods and to write them as part of a scientific work.
