Course content
The aim of this course is to perfect professional communication in meetings and negotiations.
The core content of the course includes:
[1] Participating meetings
[2] Taking minutes and writing reports
[3] Preparing and chairing meetings
[4] Behavioral and communiation styles
[5] Negotian management
[6] Awareness of the cross cultural aspects of International Meetings and Negotiations
The language of instruction is English.
Learning outcomes
After completing the Personal Skills & English module, students will be able to apply advanced word processing, presentation and spreadsheet software and will be familiar with common programming environments and will be able to create first low-level programs. The students also learn soft skills such as presentation techniques, negotiation techniques, conflict management, analytical problem solving and are able to communicate in German and English at the highest level.
In addition, the students learn the techniques of scientific work, are able to raise research questions and to answer them by means of scientific methods and to write them as part of a scientific work.
