Knowledge of the German language is thus an essential prerequisite (at least Level C1).<\/p>\n<h4>Qualification for university entrance<\/h4>\n<p>You can apply for a programme at FH JOANNEUM if you have completed<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a secondary academic school or a college for higher vocational education,<\/li>\n<li>a vocational matriculation exam or <\/li>\n<li>an apprenticeship diploma plus upper secondary certificate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"\" class=\"wp-block-text-content margin-bottom-normal\">\n    <div class=\"container-lg\">\n        <div class=\"row\">\n            <div class=\"col\">\n                <h4>You have no university entrance qualification<\/h4>\n<p>If you have no secondary school leaving or vocational matriculation certificate you need<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a university entrance qualification exam or<\/li>\n<li>a relevant professional qualification plus additional exams, which you may take as part of the qualification course for university entrance <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You need to provide evidence that you have passed the relevant exams until the start of studies.<\/p>\n\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"\" class=\"wp-block-text-content margin-bottom-normal\">\n    <div class=\"container-lg\">\n        <div class=\"row\">\n            <div class=\"col\">\n                <h5>Qualification course for university entrance<\/h5>\n<p>A university entrance qualification exam always consists of five modules. <\/p>\n<p>A university entrance qualification entitling students to study for a degree within the  <strong>Engineering<\/strong>, <strong>Law<\/strong>, <strong>Social and Economic Sciences<\/strong> or <strong>Teacher Training<\/strong> groups of studies will be fully recognised for this degree programme.<\/p>\n\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n<div id=\"\" class=\"wp-block-text-content margin-bottom-normal\">\n    <div class=\"container-lg\">\n        <div class=\"row\">\n            <div class=\"col\">\n                <h5>Relevant professional qualifications plus additional examinations<\/h5>\n<p>Relevant professional qualifications include<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a completed apprenticeship (e.g. office and trade, tourism, IT etc.),<\/li>\n<li>completion of a secondary vocational school (e.g. for commercial professions, tourism, office management, business administration, creative office management, event management, IT management, hotel management, etc.) or <\/li>\n<li>completion of the first semester of a four-semester part-time technical college (HTL-B).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You must complete the following subjects<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Essay on a general topic (German),<\/li>\n<li>Mathematics and<\/li>\n<li>English. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n<div id=\"\" class=\"wp-block-text-content margin-bottom-normal\">\n    <div class=\"container-lg\">\n        <div class=\"row\">\n            <div class=\"col\">\n                <h4>You are not an Austrian citizen?<\/h4>\n<p>You&rsquo;ll need to meet certain requirements.
