Learning outcomes

The students have knowledge of legal basics (hierarchy of norms, private law vs public law, legal subjects, legal objects, legal capacity, authorisation etc), basics of contractual law, and labor law. They know how contracts are concluded, know defects in contract formation, the relevant cases of non-performance, and basics of tort law. Labor Law: Students know which questions may be asked in job interviews, the difference between employment contracts, contracts for works and services and freelance service contracts and are familiar with the relevant termination possibilities (notices of cancellation, dismissal). Furthermore they acquire knowledge in the fields of paid leaves, working hours, and employee liability. They were confronted with  the basics of intllectual property law, industrial law, and competition law.
