Course content
Carrying out selected functional tests and diagnostic procedures in pulmonary, cardiovascular and neurological areas. Indications, contraindications and criteria for discontinuing functional-diagnostic investigations, quality assurance, interpretation and documentation of results
Learning outcomes
The students make connections between practice-oriented parameters of cardiopulmonary and neurological diseases and their clinical aspects. They know the physical and hardware-related basics to investigate cardiopulmonary and neurological diseases. The students are capable of performing examinations in cardiopulmonary and electroneurological functional diagnostics based on selected disorder profiles taking into consideration indications, contraindications and quality assuring measures. They are able to interpret findings, make validity checks, and are able to criticize their findings according to quality criteria.
