Course content

Introduction, orientation, general terminology ; heart, blood vessels, lymphatic system; digestive system; respiratory system; urogenital system; hormonal glands; nervous system; sense organs

Learning outcomes

The students acquire the basic foundations of the organsiation and structure of the human organism. They understand the biomchemical and physiological processes and can distinguish pathological changes. In all special fields they are able to take the appropriate hygienic measures according to the guidelines. This theoretical knowledge is the basis for applying methods and techniques of laboratory analysis under supervision and in medical diagnostics.
