Course content

Based on the theories of project management, strategy development and business plan design, the students will develop a business idea as well as a related strategy and business plan for a startup operating in an emerging market. Social business ideas are prefered. The outcome of this project is then presented to a group of experts and discussed with them.

Learning outcomes

After having completed this module, students are able to:

recap the most important tools of project management as well as strategy development.
understand the basics of business plan design.
apply the most important tools of project management, strategy development and business plan design to advanced strategic projects as teams.
choose suitable marketing strategies based on given strategic decisions.
