Course content

In this course students develop their own research project in teams. This comprises of the elaboration of a research design, the necessary data collection, analysis, visualisation and interpretation of the gathered data as well as the writing of a research report based on scientific standards. The results will be basically presented to a group of experts and discussed.

Learning outcomes

After having completed this module, students are able to:

use state-of-the-art statistical software on an advanced level.
apply statistical methods to large volumes of data.
interpret research results.
conduct an applied research project within a team.
evaluate scientific literature and sources.
apply advanced qualitative and quantitative research methods.
create research reports.
