Professional profiles and fields of practice of dietitians from an international perspective
Tasks of dietitians in the multi-professional team, health professions.
Language for discussions
Vocabulary extension in the area of food and nutrients
Describing process and methods of meal preparation
Strategies for dealing effectively with academic texts: search strategies with English key words; reading strategies; elements and style of scholarly texts; dictionary techniques

Learning outcomes

Students
are able to describe the professional activities of dietitians in international comparison in English and name other health professions
can name foods, macro and micronutrients
are able to talk about forms of food preparation
are able to adequately use phrases and rhetorical techniques in presentations and discussions
are proficient in dictionary techniques
