Course content
Cell physiology, arousal and stimulus conduction, muscle and nerve physiology, body control and regulation processes, cardiac physiology, physiology of the respiratory system, renal physiology (both in rest and under stress), water and electrolyte balance, sensory physiology
Learning outcomes
The students are able to represent physiological contexts, have the ability to communicate clearly with other medical professionals, are able to recognize deviations from normal reactions and are proficient in the basics of resting and stress metabolism to the extent necessary for their job description
