In order to graduate from the Master’s degree programme in Digital Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and obtain your degree as a “Master of Arts in Business (MA)” you will need to:<\/p>\n

  • successfully complete all the classes<\/li>\n
  • write a Master’s thesis, which must be approved and graded positively<\/li>\n
  • pass an oral master’s examination<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

    Master’s Thesis<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

    In the third and fourth semesters, you will demonstrate your specialist knowledge and your ability to work scientifically in the Master’s thesis.<\/p>\n

    Students carry out an independent research project and write a scientific paper, which they present and defend as part of the Master’s examination. Ideally, the Master’s thesis is linked to the Minimum Viable Product (MVP), which students develop in teams on the basis of the Startup Labs.<\/p>\n

    While the MVP is the result of teamwork, the Master’s thesis represents the scientific contribution of each individual student. Here, a partial aspect of the business idea is scientifically analysed. After choosing a topic, students and their supervisors as well as companies – if involved – must sign the submission form with the topic and submit it to the institute. The topic is then reviewed and confirmed by the head of the degree programme.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

    Master’s Examination<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

    The Master’s examination is a board examination that is open to the public. The examination senate always consists of three lecturers from the degree programme: usually the supervisor of the Master’s thesis, one lecturer and the head of degree programme. The examination includes the following three components:<\/p>\n

    • Presentation of your Master’s thesis<\/li>\n
    • Defence of your Master’s thesis<\/li>\n
    • Questions about the core topics of the degree programme applied in a case study<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

      With entrepreneurial spirit and innovative strength, the majority of our graduates normally start to work full-time straight away. However, you can also choose from a wide range of academic programmes: you can either study for a doctorate or a PhD immediately after graduation or at a later date.
