Course content

  • Acquisition of measurement data such as acceleration, inclination, angular velocity, distance
  • Wireless transmission of measurement data from a mobile application and visualisation on a PC
  • Integration of sensor data in an existing algorithm
  • Simulation of algorithms
  • Testing of source code

Learning outcomes

Graduates

  • attain basic knowledge of statistics and probabilistic calculations,
  • aquire the about the fundamentals in wireless data transmission and visualisation,
  • learn to handle microcontroller platforms,
  • are familiar with different sensors used in the automotive sector and their functional principles respectively,
  • are able to analyze sensor data,
  • are able to use control systems within practical applications and
  • are able to independently solve problems using appropriate sensor systems.
