Semiconductor Technology
Integrated course, 5.00 ECTS
Course content
- pn transition - semiconductor diodes and circuit examples - bipolar transistors - field-effect transistors - basic transistor circuits and applications Students are required to solve examples in exercises, partly with computer support Theoretical relationships are illustrated in practical laboratory exercises.
Learning outcomes
Graduates - are familiar with the function and operation of diodes and transistors, - are able to select the proper components for a specific task and - understand their application in elementary circuits and can design and implement such circuits.
