On 17 March 2023, the initiative “Steiermark hilft” as well as the associations “Flüchtlingshilfe Doro Blancke” and “RosaLila Panther:innen” were presented with the Human Rights Award of the Province of Styria. Two days later, “Styria helps” invited to the “Festival of Humanity” in the hall of the Styrian “Arbeiterkammer” to celebrate this with more than 500 guests.

In September 2022, during the Orientation Program for International Students, the International Relations division welcomed 155 students from 52 countries who have come to study at FH JOANNEUM.

Thanks to the internet, we are all globally connected and all doors are open to us. And we too open our doors to applicants from all over the world. International and English-taught degree programmes in particular provide students who are not from a German-speaking country with the opportunity to pursue further education.
