TOBEE
Sustainable packaging solutions for a small beekeeping company
This thesis shows how ideas for a sustainable packaging solution and corporate design were developed for the small beekeeping company TOBEE. A detailed analysis of relevant packaging material leads to the discussion of requirements of the design concept cradle to cradle, which should be the basis for every product.
Sustainability is an immensely important argument in packaging. Therefore the development of sustainable packaging solutions should take into account the choice of environmentally friendly material as well as reusability.
TOBEE is about natural products, has a packaging with a small ecological footprint and also tries to boost its producers, the bees.
