Viva la Nostalgia | Vintage design

The nostalgia trend has always enjoyed great popularity, and can be found in every part of the design sector. However, fascination for the past has existed for centuries, and is not a phenomenon of the current time. One can find numerous books about nostalgic design for sale, which are particularly popular in the area of interior design.

The aim of this master’s thesis was to create a well-founded body of information concerning nostalgic design in the field of interior and print design through an examination of the history of habitation and ephemera.
