Guest Lecture by Hannes Hunschofsky

 

To provide first-hand knowledge of b2b marketing to first-semester BA students, Senior Lecturer Denny Seiger invited Hannes Hunschofsky, head of HOERBIGER Engine Division.

HOERBIGER (www.hoerbiger.com) is one of these hidden champions that form the backbone of Austria’s export machine. The company is active in most of the industrialised and in many emerging markets and in several areas of technology. The engine division deals mostly with OEM engine manufacturers and industrial engine users.
Being not only a seasoned professional in b2b marketing and sales but also a smooth operator, Hannes Hunschofsky immediately fascinated the students with his descriptions of the challenges and learnings of dealing with potent customers such as Caterpillar and of operating in demanding environments like China.

Hr. Hunschofsky has lived in the US for more than 20 years. He commutes frequently between the corporate headquarter in Vienna/Austria and Florida/USA, the location of HOERBIGER Corporation of America (HCA) and where he also has his home.

The students reacted to Hannes Hunschofsky’s guest lecture with comments like “really interesting“ to “great guest lecture“ and “extremely interesting“.
