With Paul Fraissler, Bernhard Endmayer, and Lucijana Jelicic, three graduates are now working for XAL, a leading Austrian manufacturer of high-quality lights and lighting systems for shops, offices, hotels, and homes.

As the Director of International Sales, Paul Fraissler, who studied International Management within the cohort of MIG02, is now responsible for the global sales team and the international sales network of XAL. As leading manufacturer of architectural lighting XAL owns subsidiaries in New York, Munich, Zurich, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Madrid, Barcelona, Kortrijk, Bolzano, Bratislava, Warsaw, United Arab Emirates, Pune, Hong Kong, and Stockholm. Paul Fraissler has worked for XAL since 2007.

With his Master’s degree in Business in Emerging markets, Bernhard Endmayer has proved to be well prepared to take on the challenges of emerging countries. He has just returned from a nine-month stint in India and is now applying his talents in XAL’s headquarters in Graz. Bernhard Endmayer graduated in 2015 as part of the MEM13 cohort.

Lucijana Jelicic, also of MEM13, has a promising career ahead of her as an International Sales Manager for XAL. She has already brought her skills into play with projects in the South - Eastern European Markets, thus making use of the competences and knowledge acquired in her master’s studies of Business in Emerging Markets.

All three graduates are part of a very successful global company with around 1,300 employees, its own research, production, and sales sites in 30 international locations, and a partner network that spans five continents. XAL’s passion for light has also made MIG and MEM students into shining stars of the international business world, now seeing the light themselves.
