UX in screen design
Illustrations have been gaining importance in recent years. Progressive digitalisation is offering new possibilities for their use. Especially in the field of screen design, creative work is used frequently.
Over the last few years, many trends have emerged in the digital field and are still strong today. This bachelor’s thesis deals with whether illustrations can positively influence the user experience. It highlights the challenges that designers have to overcome in order to use illustration effectively and reach the users. Just as in user experience design, all aspects must be tailored to the end user. Among other matters, the use of illustrations has been addressed in a work piece in the form of an app for smartphones.
