The relationship between graphic design and objects.
As one of the oldest, most important, and most applicable tools used in exhibition design, graphic design plays a key role in the spatial production
of exhibition content. In particular, this thesis examines the relationship between graphic design and exhibits within the context of exhibitions.
The foundation for this is made up of interviews with experts conducted specifically for this thesis, as well as selected case studies. On the basis of these, the advantageous aspects and limits of the relationship between graphic design and the exhibit are explained. The findings were ultimately transferred to the exhibition The Orange Age, whose graphic appearance had been developed for Designmonat Graz 2017.
