Project

WINGS

The main objective of the WINGS project is to create and promote stronger links between female entrepreneurs within the European Union. The platform offers extensive know-how in the form of innovative learning and training tools for entrepreneurial initiatives by women.

The training materials and learning content provided by the WINGS platform include: how do you develop a successful e-commerce website or promote your own company in the social media, how do you manage the cash flow in your project and how do you prepare for discussions with potential investors. The platform is designed as a one-stop shop. The services on offer cover everything from presentations and papers through to articles and books for self-study and all the way to e-learning modules such as online workshops and courses. The platform can also put you in touch with a mentor. One of the modules is specifically tailored to the needs of female migrants who want to start a business.

An exceptional network

WINGS aims to be a strong, unique and sustainable EU-wide network: an online platform that makes it easier to access and exchange learning and training opportunities to promote women entrepreneurs. The platform also gives the women entrepreneurs the chance to open up their own small web shops free of charge where they can present their products and services.

The WINGS consortium is very diverse and its members include nine institutions from eight European countries, including Spain, Denmark, Turkey and Poland. The programme is managed by FH JOANNEUM Graz. Consistent mainstreaming ensures that at least half of the team members involved in the projects are women.
