Stephan Pabst currently works as research assistant and PhD Student at the Insitute for Sociology at Innsbruck University and teaches in the bachelor for Sustainable Food Management at FH JOANNEUM. He holds a degree in Agriculture and Food Economy from BOKU - Vienna University of Life Sciences and studied Rural Sociology at the University of Wageningen. He works in the field of Agro-Food Studies and with qualitative Social Science methods and Action Research. He was engaged in the national and international CSA - network and has several years of experience in farmwork. From August 2017 to March 2021 Stephan Pabst worked as researcher for the Research Group for Sustainable Food Systems at FH JOANNEUM. His fokus in research lies in value based producer-consumer networks, regional and sustainable food supply chain management and modern aspects of peasant agriculture.
