Ute Berger has always been passionate for her job.
After her Master’s degree in Business Studies at the Karl-Franzens-University in Graz, she was employed as manager of a book- and mediastore in Bruck/Mur. In this position she was responsible for ten employees and created an excel-based reporting system for company owners. After two years she left for a position as manager at Neckermann Versand Österreich AG. In this 17 years lasting employment she was engaged as manager in different departements and was responsible for 70 staff employees. Part of her job was participation in several projects, human ressource planning, department budget planning and reporting.
In 2012, Ute Berger decided to do another Master’s program at the Karl-Franzens-University. She studied Business Education for two years and then started teaching classes at several schools and institutions which she continues doing until today. She teaches all economic subjects and focusses on financial and cost accounting.
At the FH JOANNEUM’s Master’s program “International Hospitality and Spa Management” she teaches "International Accounting and Controlling" in the third semester.
In her leisure time she loves riding up and down the hills with her mountainbike.
