The evening lecture will take place on March 12 at FH JOANNEUM Graz.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"\" class=\"wp-block-text-content margin-bottom-normal\">\n    <div class=\"container-lg\">\n        <div class=\"row\">\n            <div class=\"col\">\n                <p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"mso-ansi-language: EN-US;\">Over the years, our <b>Aviation students<\/b> have gained valuable experience at AVL through internships, bachelor&rsquo;s, and master&rsquo;s theses&mdash;many of whom have continued their careers within the company.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"mso-ansi-language: EN-US;\">Thanks to our University Partnership Program Agreement with AVL since July 2023, our institute benefits from access to PreonLab and AVL Fire M, two cutting-edge CFD software solutions used for hydrodynamic and multiphysics simulations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"mso-ansi-language: EN-US;\">A highlight of this event will be the presentation by <b>Mario Rammelm&uuml;ller<\/b>, who will introduce his Master&rsquo;s internship project: &ldquo;Aerodynamic Analysis of the NASA Source Diagnostic Test Configuration.&rdquo; His work focuses on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations to analyze aeroacoustic emissions in modern high bypass ratio aircraft engines. He will showcase the development of steady (RANS) and unsteady (PANS) CFD models and their role in validating novel workflows for noise prediction.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"mso-ansi-language: EN-US;\">Additionally, <b>DI Alexander Machold<\/b>, Skill Team Leader of <b>Multiphysics CFD Simulation<\/b>, will provide insights into AVL&rsquo;s various projects and career opportunities in the field of CFD.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"mso-ansi-language: EN-US;\">This lecture is a must-attend event for our aviation students, offering valuable insights into AVL&rsquo;s aerospace activities, internship opportunities, and potential thesis projects.
