to reduce costs in almost all areas. That makes the productivity of every single individual increasingly significant. This also impacts the global electronics industry, because the need for highly-efficient tools and the people who can operate them is constantly growing. <\/p>\n<p>In response to this development, the Institute of Electronic Engineering at FH JOANNEUM has successfully applied to become a LabVIEW Academy. Laboratory Virtual Instrumentation Engineering Workbench, or LabVIEW for short, is a system design software produced by National Instruments (NI).<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div id=\"\" class=\"wp-block-text-content margin-bottom-normal\">\n    <div class=\"container-lg\">\n        <div class=\"row\">\n            <div class=\"col\">\n                <p>Its graphic programming syntax and development environment allows technical systems to be visualised, developed and coded. From the development of intelligent machines to quality assurance for networked equipment &ndash; LabVIEW is the preferred solution for developing, distributing and testing the components which make up today&rsquo;s Internet of Things. LabVIEW was developed by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ni.com\/de-at.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">National Instruments<\/a>, a leading global provider of test, measurement and control solutions. In accordance with international requirements, its focus lies in raising the productivity of engineers and scientists. <\/p>\n<h5>LabVIEW Academy<\/h5>\n<p>LabVIEW is widely used in the electronics industry resulting in a high level of demand for professional users. These users are trained in the LabVIEW Academy, an international programme for universities which is supported by National Instruments. Having become certified, the Institute of Electronic Engineering is now one of these partner universities. After successfully completing their training, programme participants have the skills needed to attempt the <strong>Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer (CLAD)<\/strong> exam. Students at the Institute of Electronic Engineering have the option of taking part in this training programme. LabVIEW know-how and experience in using the software opens up career opportunities worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The participants profit from this training in many areas, because it gives them a thorough understanding of LabVIEW and the skills to develop applications. This not only improves their career chances, it also gives them greater professional recognition as they are able to work more productively,&rdquo; says Thomas Messner, lecturer at the Institute of Electronic Engineering. He believes these benefits are primarily the result of the many practical exercises and projects which make up the training programme. <\/p>\n<p>The training programme also opens up the opportunity to become a &ldquo;Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer&rdquo;.
