The Institute of Electronic Engineering has recently expanded its shielding anechoic chamber with new features, allowing measurements to be performed in a frequency range from 30 megahertz to 18 gigahertz. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

The Institute of Electronic Engineering has recently expanded its shielding anechoic chamber with new features. The existing chamber was expanded to allow measurements to be performed in a frequency range from 30 megahertz to 18 gigahertz. This enables <\/p>\n

    \n
  • emission measurements and immunity tests on electronic devices
    \nand<\/li>\n
  • customised antenna design. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    In addition to the anechoic chamber, partners, teaching staff and students also have access to comprehensive measurement equipment covering the entire frequency range. The state-of-the-art laboratory infrastructure available provides the basis for acquiring new research and customer projects and providing more extensive application-oriented training in the laboratory.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

    In the near future the Institute plans to additionally acquire an automated switch matrix, optical interfaces and a camera system for optical monitoring during ongoing tests in order to further enhance the laboratory’s efficiency.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
