Good Scientific Practice<\/h4>\n

Society generally places great trust in the scientific integrity of universities. To meet this responsibility, universities are required to specify quality criteria for good scientific work, observe existing standards and make the necessary arrangements to prevent malpractice in science and formulate adequate measures on how to handle violations of good scientific practice.<\/p>\n

Guidelines for safeguarding good scientific practice and preventing malpractice in science<\/h5>\n

FH JOANNEUM places great value on safeguarding good scientific practice. The Academic Board therefore adopted the Guideline for Good Scientific Practice and Prevention of Research Misconduct, which apply to all staff and students of the university. The Guideline are based on the principles of research ethics and the requirements of good scientific practice.<\/p>\n

The rules for safeguarding good scientific practice and preventing research misconduct dated 10\/03\/2014 (save for Section V) is replaced by the Guideline for Good Scientific Practice and Prevention of Research Misconduct dated 16\/09\/2020 (note by Rector (FH), 21\/09\/2020).<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
