A battery simulator replaces the HV battery so that test operation is not dependent on charging times. This also increases operational safety, as strict safety requirements apply to an HV battery in tough test bench operation. When operated as an emulator, the system can realistically simulate the behaviour of the energy storage system in the vehicle.<\/p>\n
