These read and publish agreements include open access journals as well as subscription journals with open access option.<br>\nIf your article has been subsidised externally, please enquire, if the article processing charges (APCs) will also be funded by the funding agency.<br>\nOtherwise, you can make use of our open access cooperations which guarantee that affiliates of the FH JOANNEUM do not have to pay any publication fees as long as they meet the following requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>submitting<\/strong> <strong>corresponding authors<\/strong> have to be affiliated with the FH JOANNEUM (subject in part to the terms in force on the <strong>relevant date<\/strong>; see the agreement below) and acts as the official point of contact for the publisher regarding the submitted article; as such, they are identified as the corresponding author in the publication itself.<\/li>\n<li>Create a personal account and use the <strong>e-mail address provided by the FH JOANNEUM<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>FH JOANNEUM should be listed as your (primary) <strong>affiliation<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Submit the article from the <strong>data network of the FH JOANNEUM<\/strong> (within our IP-range).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our ePUB publication server provides a collection of Open Access <a href=\"https:\/\/epub.fh-joanneum.at\/nav\/index\/all?&amp;facets=type%3D%22oaArticle%22\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">articles<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/epub.fh-joanneum.at\/nav\/index\/all?&amp;facets=type%3D%22oaBookPart%22\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">papers<\/a> by researchers from FH JOANNEUM. At the same time, authors can choose in the IEEE tool whether they want open access or not. The corresponding author selects the country of their own institution and is then guided through the authentication and finalisation of the publication, whereby the open access version is already listed based on the affiliation announced during the submission. In the final step, the corresponding author sees a summary including the selected open access version and approves the publication in open access (&lsquo;submit for approval&rsquo;).
