In the new Erasmus+ programme generation 2021-2027, the focus topics are digitalization, Green Erasmus, inclusion and civic engagement. Therefore, there are also so-called top-ups for trainees in certain areas. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Green Travel<\/h3>\n

For universities participating in the Erasmus+ program, this means that in addition to applying for and supporting environmentally friendly measures, they must also take steps themselves to reduce the negative impact of mobility on the environment. The European Commission will therefore support environmentally friendly “green” travel in the Erasmus+ program with financial grants from program funds in the future.<\/p>\n

Students who use environmentally friendly means of transport to travel to and from their destinations will be eligible for the Top-up for Green Travel<\/strong>, worth a total of 50 euros<\/strong>. Low-emission modes of transportation include train, bus<\/strong> and carpooling<\/strong>. You are entitled to the additional amount if more than half<\/strong> of the trip is made by a low-emission mode of transport. <\/p>\n

If students travel by lower-emission means of transport, they will receive an additional two travel<\/strong> days in total. The travel days count towards the funded duration, but not towards the minimum duration<\/p>\n

Fewer Opportunities<\/h3>\n

To ensure equal and equitable access to the program and equal opportunities for participants from all backgrounds, universities are encouraged to provide the best possible support to participants with potential barriers. The “fewer opportunities”<\/strong> group of participants will be supported in their endeavors through financial grants from programme funds. The additional support (“fewer opportunities” Top-Up)<\/strong> for persons with fewer opportunities is given to:<\/p>\n
