The environmental conditions can be periodically altered by varying temperature and humidity for the purposes of simulation. This allows the functionality of individual components and entire vehicles the size of light duty vehicles to be tested over a series of climatic cycles or alternating temperature and humidity. Climate chamber tests are carried out for product quality control purposes, or to simulate extreme conditions. The exhaust extraction system also enables vehicles to be tested while their engine is running. Starting behaviour at low temperatures can thus be tested quickly, simply and in a reproducible manner. <\/p>\n<p>The climate chamber is designed to record the temperature changes in the chamber at four flexible measuring points, as well as the relative humidity and additional voltage and current signals. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Services<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Windscreen defrosting according to 672\/2010\/EU<\/li>\n<li>Icing tests, e.g. on airfoils or wiper blades<\/li>\n<li>Cold starting tests on vehicles <\/li>\n<li>Air conditioning tests at extreme ambient temperatures <\/li>\n<li>Functional tests on mechanical components under icing conditions<\/li>\n<li>Performance tests on electrical components at low temperatures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Specifications<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dimensions: 6.4 x 3 m, 3 m open height, max. load 1000 kg\/m2<\/li>\n<li>Temperature range from -50 &deg;C to +50
