Hello, dear newcomers! Nice to have you back, dear experienced ones. What’s happening over the next few days and weeks? We have the overview for the 2024\/2025 academic year for you.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

You’ve completed the admissions procedure, your place has been confirmed and now it’s time to get started. Or are you coming back after an eventful first or even second year at FH JOANNEUM? In any case, here you will find an overview of what to expect in the academic year 2024\/2025, important tips and much more.<\/p>\n

What is important?<\/h3>\n

Pay the ÖH fee. The 24.70 euros must be transferred on time by 1.11.2024, otherwise you will be exmatriculated.<\/p>\n

As in previous years, you can find lots of relevant information about your studies in the Studo app<\/a>. Click and install.<\/p>\n

The Student’s Welcome for our first-year students is on<\/p>\n

1.10.24, 11-11:30 am in Bad Gleichenberg,<\/p>\n

2.10.24, 11-11:30 am (all health and technology degree programs) and 12-12:30 pm (all others) in Graz and on 4.10., 5-5:30 pm for the part-time degree programs in Graz and also on<\/p>\n

4.10.24, 15-15:30 in Kapfenberg.<\/p>\n

And now take a deep breath: Autumn often begins eventfully and sometimes feels bumpy, but one thing at a time, the new everyday life will return.<\/p>\n

Your most important points of contact<\/h3>\n

Our central IT helpdesk can help you with technical questions. You can contact the team by email at helpdesk@fh-joanneum.at<\/a> from Monday to Saturday.<\/p>\n

The Study Center<\/a> is the central point of contact for all your questions about student ID cards, topping up print credits, discounts and public transport tickets.<\/p>\n

In the library at your location, you can study in peace, research literature or find a quiet place to take a deep breath.<\/p>\n

For internships or other job advertisements, it’s best to click through the Career Center<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Are you toying with the idea of spending some time abroad during your studies? The experienced team at the International Office<\/a> will be happy to help and advise you.<\/p>\n

Another important companion during your studies is the öh joanneum<\/a>. It supports all students with study law issues and represents their interests. You automatically become a member when you pay the ÖH fee.<\/p>\n

What else?<\/h3>\n

JOANNEUM ONLINE<\/a> is the central management system of FH JOANNEUM. This is where students can find all the information they need about their degree course: timetable, grades, exams, courses, etc. You can also download the confirmation of enrolment, which is required for the public transport ticket, for example.<\/p>\n

You will use the Moodle<\/a> platform for some courses, and Microsoft Teams<\/a> will also be used from time to time.<\/p>\n

With your access data, you have access to WLAN at all our locations: log in to eduroam, FHJOANNEUM2WORK or FH JOANNEUM4FREE.<\/p>\n
