There are different types of higher education institutions in Austria, each with its own focus. The degrees, however, are of equal value, and it’s possible to switch between types of institutions after completing a program.<\/p>\n

The advantages of a University of Applied Sciences are the practical approach, the fixed study duration, and the excellent job prospects after graduation.<\/p>\n

FH JOANNEUM is one of the largest Universities of Applied Sciences in Austria. We have three locations in Styria: Graz, Kapfenberg, and Bad Gleichenberg, and offer many bachelor’s and master’s degree programs across six departments.<\/p>\n

To study at FH JOANNEUM, you need to complete an application and admission process, you need to have general university entrance qualification for a Bachelor’s degree or a relevant Bachelor’s degree if you’re applying for a Master’s programme. For German-language programs, provide proof of at least B2-level proficiency in German. The same goes for English study programs. The admission process varies by program.<\/p>\n

Don’t forget to apply for a Visa when before you come to Austria.<\/p>\n

Non-EU students pay a tuition fee of around €730 per semester and an application deposit of around €250 that will be returned when students begin with their studies.<\/p>\n
