Successful graduates of the Occupational Therapy and Health and Tourism Management institutes at FH JOANNEUM Bad Gleichenberg received special awards at their graduation ceremonies on 25 October 2024.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

The “Hans-Werner Frömmel Young Talent Award”, presented in the categories “Ambassador” and “High Potential,” was established for the third time by construction entrepreneur Hans-Werner Frömmel, a co-founder and long-standing supporter of FH JOANNEUM in Bad Gleichenberg.<\/p>\n

“Ambassador” Award for a Successful Career<\/h4>\n

The “Ambassador” category, endowed with €4,000, honors graduates of the Institute Health and Tourism Management who have successfully established themselves in their professional careers after completing their studies. This year, Norbert Dürauer<\/strong> received the award for his work in project management for cycling and nature activities and mountain bike coordination at Mostviertel Tourismus \/ Ybbstaler Alpen.<\/p>\n

Recognition for Four Promising Young Talents<\/h4>\n

The “High Potential” award, endowed with €1,500, celebrates outstanding young talents. This year’s award went to Leah-Isabell Heue<\/strong>r, Fulvio Pichler, Lukas Prinz, and Theresa Riegler<\/strong>, all graduates of the master’s program in Health, Tourism, and Sports Management. Leah-Isabell Heuer continued her career at FH JOANNEUM Bad Gleichenberg as an Internationalization and Mobility Coordinator. Fulvio Pichler works at GIVE, the service center for health promotion in Austrian schools. Lukas Prinz ist employed as an Executive Assistant at RSG Group Austria GmbH. And Theresa Riegler became a self-employed event manager for international sports events.<\/p>\n

Presentation of the ERgotherapieLEBEN Award<\/h4>\n

Also awarded for the third time, the ERgotherapieLEBEN Award was presented during the graduation ceremony of the Institute of Occupational Therapy. Linda Berghofer<\/strong>, a graduate of the class of 2021, was recognized for her bachelor’s thesis, “Occupational Therapy Pilot Project ‘Games Box’: A Games Offering for the Independent Occupation of Children of FH JOANNEUM Students and Staff.”<\/p>\n
