SMEs and universities in the Ko\u0161ice region were given support enabling better analysis of knowledge available in the region and facilitating networking and collaborations tailored to their needs.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div id=\"\" class=\"wp-block-text-content margin-bottom-normal\">\n    <div class=\"container-lg\">\n        <div class=\"row\">\n            <div class=\"col\">\n                <h5>Knowledge transfer with regard to analysis and evaluation<\/h5>\n<p>In a global economy, innovative abilities are of decisive importance in achieving a sustainable competitive advantage and economic success. The project focused on the transfer of knowledge about current management approaches in the field of analysis and evaluation of intellectual capital. <\/p>\n<p>In collaboration with organisations from Germany and Slovakia, staff from FH JOANNEUM provided practical guidance on intellectual capital reporting, which helped universities and companies in the  Ko&scaron;ice region to find new ways of improving management of and cooperation between organisations. Training courses were held and training materials and an e-learning system were developed with the aim of helping SMEs and their partners working in research and development to ensure more effective management of their intangible resources. <\/p>\n<h5>Increased use of intellectual capital<\/h5>\n<p>The success of the project is reflected not only in the increased use of intellectual capital as a management tool but also in terms of intensified international cooperation, providing the ideal foundations for improved knowledge transfer between organisations and increased regional competitiveness in the Ko&scaron;ice area. <\/p>\n<p>Two brochures have been published on the topics addressed by the LEGEND project and the most important project results were published in a research paper (see
