The 4th issue of the \u201cBonbonniere\u201d alumni magazine published by the Institute of Design & Communication was designed by third-semester \u201cInformation Design\u201d students. The new issue was unveiled at Lendhafen in Graz<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

The name “Bonbonniere” represents a collection of diverse career paths taken by our graduates. Much has changed since 1999, when the Information Design program began at FH JOANNEUM. Today, the Institute of Design and Communication offers one bachelor’s and two master’s programs – and with them, a growing network of graduates.<\/p>\n

The design of this issue was once again in the hands of our IND24 students in the third-semester bachelor’s course “Commission-Based Design,” under the guidance and art direction of Cora Akdogan<\/a>.
\nWorking in three teams, the students developed concepts and presented their ideas in pitches. Their assignment: to give each article its own visual voice and highlight the diversity of perspectives. The final design was created by five students: Lea Konopasek, Lisa Oberleitner, Manuel Reischer, Nadine Wallner, and Marie-Luise Zabini.<\/p>\n

Thank you to our alumna, who gave us such fascinating insights into her day-to-day professional life:
\nAs a game designer at Bongfish<\/a>, Julian Kogler must have a deep understanding of the gaming market and know which mechanics make a game exciting and entertaining.<\/p>\n

Isabella Schlagintweit is a designer and co-owner of the Hazod Schlagintweit<\/a> agency, which specializes in repositioning, redesigns, and relaunch processes.<\/p>\n

Senior User Experience Designer \/ Digital Product Designer Marko Malle conceives and designs digital products at WRCO<\/a> holistically—from the initial idea through wireframes and user flows to fully developed user interfaces.<\/p>\n

Theresa Steiner is a curator at ISTA (Institute of Science and Technology Austria)<\/a>, focusing on the conception and implementation of exhibitions, currently for the newly opened VISTA Science Experience Center<\/a> in Klosterneuburg.<\/p>\n

As a documentary filmmaker and director at Seen Blue Conservation<\/a>, Sabine M. Probst Saavedra works in the fields of storytelling and environmental protection with the goal of inspiring people to protect oceans and bodies of water.<\/p>\n

The designer duo Martina Raminger and Christian Hirzberger develop sustainable brand identities for companies at their design studio<\/a>, combining strategic thinking with visual precision and photographic expertise.<\/p>\n

Patrick Sturm, director of the design studio EAT MY DEAR<\/a>, focuses on motion design, VFX, traditional animation, and graphic design.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
