    Is it possible to find value in the incongruous? Can the ungraspable be comprehended and explained? Is there any sense in supposedly nonsensical art and creation?<\/p>\n

    This thesis looks at the perceptions and applications of absurdism and nonsense as fundamental elements in art and design by examining the occurrence and use of those concepts in the fields of philosophy, visual arts and literature. The main focus of the thesis is on the constructive interplay of nonsense, creativity and humor, in order to show how nonsense as an intentional tool can highlight new perspectives, and lead the way to innovative forms of creation.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
