    This bachelor’s thesis attempts to shed some light on certain aspects of creative exploration, approaches and methodology in the design and reception of comics, or more specifically pictorial stories and graphic novels. <\/p>\n

    Image and text design, as well as knowledge of the use of suitable tools for reading and designing comic strips are a decisive component in terms of the success of the project, from the research of material up to its final production. <\/p>\n

    A deeper understanding of the backgrounds and origins of pictorial composition, as well as insight into the linguistic roots, especially when these two elements are combined in the form of a comic, can illustrate multifaceted variants of an art form which in the German-speaking world has not yet enjoyed the exhaustive discourse it deserves.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
