It provides an overview of<br>\nthe history of children&rsquo;s literature, and explains the positive influence children&rsquo;s books have on the cognitive development of young children.<br>\nAnother core subject is the differences between the various target groups in the children&rsquo;s book sector, and what should be taken into consideration when writing and illustrating for children.
