    Is lean production and quality a contradiction? The world of filmmaking lived through vast changes over the last fifteen years. Ever since the beginnings of the digital era, the technical breakthroughs in the industry seem to take no end and constantly serve new opportunities for the filmmaking community. <\/p>\n

    Whoever sat through the end credits of a movie or saw pictures of big commercial or music video sets knows that even in today‘s age a big crew and even bigger gear seems to be a necessity, even though modern equipment gets more and more compact and easy to use. It seems like quality still has its price, right? “Film Production Without a Crew” discusses this exact topic and also features a practical piece of work, a commercial spot for the Nationalpark Hohe Tauern, which tries to solve this question even further.
