    Everything is staged and everyone stages—this seems to be the common understanding of everyday life. This master’s thesis examines how the concept of staging can be defined from a theoretical point of view in order to detach itself from a judgmental and inflationary use. Is it really just about the beautiful appearance and manipulation of the other person, or is there also a value‒free use of the terminology? Who is staging for whom? Why? And what actually happens there? These are the central questions, which are particularly important with regard to the activity of staging for exhibition designers in order to become aware of their own actions and the associated consequences in terms of responsibility. The definition of terms is applied in the areas of creative work, art, and self‒presentation in order to show parallels in the composition and function.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
