Course content
The basic concepts of Austrian and EU law as well as the basic principles of contract, commercial and company law are presented. In addition, competition law, trade law are addressed.

Mode of delivery
The course is mainly held in lecture form. Some subject-specific topics are given to students as projects and presented in class. The objective of such exercises is to give students the chance to work autonomously in teams on special practice-oriented problems. Various legal cases and models are discussed.

Assessment methods and criteria
The students’ grades are based on their level of participation, the positive evaluation of a project carried out in teams and a positive mark on a written exam.
