Environmental Process Engineering
Integrated course, 3.00 ECTS
Course content
This course deals with process engineering and the principles of integrated environmental protection. Special attention is paid to measures and techniques to prevent and reduce emissions from industrial activities into air, water and soil. Having completed this lecture, student have achieved a detailed knowledge of industrial activities and resulting legal obligations to prevent and control industrial emissions.
Learning outcomes
Module UWM 3 introduces students to the requirements of recycling management and central aspects of industrial process engineering as a basis for measures to mitigate emissions and enhance energy efficiency. It also provides an overview of the most important measuring sensors used in environmental engineering as a prerequisite for initiating and assessing improvement measures.
