Course content

This integrated course covers the mathematical and statistical methods necessary for solving typical tasks relevant to the programme using a practical approach.

Learning outcomes

Functions - derivatives - integrals in the context of scientific model building such as growth models and accelerated movements.
Working with angular functions in physical and geodetic models.
Solve equations with special functions like exp and ln.
Finding functions with support points. Interpolation problems
