Electrical Engineering
Integrated course, 4.00 ECTS
Course content
The lecture addresses different conduction mechanisms, electrical and magnetic fields and their applications (electrical generators and drives, transformers), fundamental laws of current circuits, AC and three-phase technologies, and provides an introduction to measurement engineering.
Learning outcomes
Module NWG2 provides more detailed knowledge of the technical subjects of electrical engineering, thermodynamics and applied mathematics and statistics covered in Module NWG1. Students also learn to use CAD tools in planning and design and are made familiar with the physical properties of building materials relevant for the degree programme.
