Students understand the importance of IT in connection with the nursing processes of documentation and interdisciplinary teamwork. They know the theoretical basics (word processing, presentation, statistics and database programmes), are familiar with different nursing documentation systems, electronic patient records, IT systems in intensive care, documentation systems in mobile care, tele-monitoring and e-health applications.
Students understand the fundamental principles of a comprehensive public health approach and its value in various health care models. They can organise nursing interventions in various settings. They understand the benefits of IT tools in the implementation and documentation of nursing interventions and can use these efficiently.
Acquisition of competence is based on FH-GuK-AV.
