Gaining experience abroad in the health sector is invaluable. Our students are therefore offered the chance to spend a semester abroad during their third semester. The unique experience gained during a semester abroad brings both specialist expertise at a professional level as well as a chance to gather intercultural experience, learn foreign languages and stand out from the crowd in any future career. Our network of partner universities is constantly being expanded and updated by our team, ensuring the highest standards are always met.<\/p>\n

If the Master’s thesis requires time spent abroad, students can use the fourth semester for this purpose.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

During the first semester, an information event is held to answer any initial general questions about the semester abroad. <\/p>\n

If there are more applications than places, a selection process takes place based on performance in the course as well as social engagement and application documents. No course fees are incurred for spending a semester at one of our partner universities. However if students decide to attend a different university outside of our network as a so-called ‘free-mover’, course fees may be incurred and students are required to meet these costs themselves. <\/p>\n

As soon as the selection process has been completed at FH JOANNEUM, students are personally responsible for application and admission to the partner university.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
